I hope you can help me with this issue:

I'm installing CRM and ERP High Availability systems with ORACLE ASM in Red Hat Linux. In SWPM the DB Instance installation (2 nodes) fails in "Create  Database" phase. The ora_sql_results.log throws the following:

SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR - canceled only at specific time

Hi All,

Job SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR is scheduled hourly on ECC system.

All jobs are finished successfully in a day but only at specific time its getting failed.

Recently we have upgrade the support package of SAP_BASIS & SAP_ABP from 05 to 13. After then we are getting this error message.

In ST22 we getting ABAP dump for job:-

Runtime Errors         LOAD_PROGRAM_NOT_FOUND

Date and Time          27.08.2014 12:19:42

Short text

     Program "RSORA811" not found.

What happened?

     There are several possibilities:

Error in the ABAP Application Program

The current ABAP program "RSCOLL00" had to be terminated because it has

come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.

     or

     Error in the SAP kernel.

The current ABAP "RSCOLL00" program had to be terminated because the

ABAP processor detected an internal system error.

Error analysis

On account of a branch in the program

    (CALL FUNCTION/DIALOG, external PERFORM, SUBMIT)

or a transaction call, another ABAP/4 program

is to be loaded, namely "RSORA811".

However, program "RSORA811" does not exist in the library.

    Possible reasons:

    a) Wrong program name specified in an external PERFORM or

SUBMIT or, when defining a new transaction, a new

dialog module or a new function module.

    b) Transport error

How to correct the error

Check the last transports to the R/3 System.

Are changes currently being made to the program "RSCOLL00"?

Has the correct program been entered in table TSTC for Transaction " "?

    -

If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to

find an interim solution in an SAP Note.

If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following

    keywords:

    "LOAD_PROGRAM_NOT_FOUND" " "

    "RSCOLL00" or "RSCOLL00"

    "LOOP_AT_SYSTEMS_AND_REPORTS"

Backup name format

$

Hello,

We're having an issue with the time it takes for our backups to run.  We're using NetBackup as our external backup tool.  We normally take backups using transaction DB13 in SAP.  We found that NetBackup has a recommendation on the format of the backup names, using bk_%s_%p_%t.  When I start a backup, the following command is generated by brbackup:

backup incremental level 1 cumulative tag bepdmxxx format '<SID>_bepdmxxx.%s_%p' filesperset 1 check logical

  database

Does anyone know how we can change this format?  I tried the rman configure command, but that didn't work.  Is there a way to do this with the rman_parms or rman_send parameters in init<SID>.sap?  I also came across an old SAP note that seems to apply to this situation, setting the variable BR_FTS to 1, but that didn't work either.  It seems like this should be a relatively easy change, but I'm not sure what else I can try.  I'd appreciate any recommendations you can give me.  Thank you!

Problem with start of DB in distributed environment

$

Hi all,

I hope someone can help me.

We have a problem with the startup of our sap instances when the database is running on another node.

The problem is, that the startdb doesn't find the remote database and start the database local on the node.

I have a flexframe infrastructure and all sap instances are single services like db, scs, ci, app

The Flexframe starts the services step by step in the correct sequence.

In the first step flexframe starts the database on the remote host correctly and

in the next step flexframe starts the ci.

In the protocols I find the successfull checks with R3Trans and TNSPING.

In the step "sapcontrol starts the instance" is implemented a wait of 10 seconds.

During this windows the startdb-script is running.

The tnsnames adapter resolves the alias correct.

After that step the function "check_db_running"

is running and this function starts the database local.

At the moment we stop the unconnected database-instance and the system works without any problems.

Here the protocols:

The startsap.trc has following infos:

    }09:40:47 ## restore_path() done

    EXEDIR=/usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS00/exe

    EXECMD=/usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS00/exe/R3trans

Left over LOB-Index after EHP7

$

0

Hello,

At the moment we have some ERP systems where we cannot delete the old PSAPR3700 tablespace, because there is a LOB-Index left over which I can't move to the new PSAPSR3740 tablespace.

SQL> select index_name from dba_indexes where tablespace_name='PSAPSR3700';

INDEX_NAME

------------------------------

SYS_IL0000041984C00004$$

SQL> select owner, table_name from dba_lobs where 'SYS_IL0000041984C00004$$'in (segment_name, index_name);

OWNER TABLE_NAME

------------------------------ ------------------------------

SAPSR3 DBMAPS

OWNER TABLE_NAME

------------------------------ ------------------------------

SAPSR3 DBMAPS

So the only way to drop the tablespace is:

drop tablespace PSAPSR3700 including contents and datafiles cascade constraints;

But I don't know anything about this index, so I'm not sure if I can drop the tablespace including the left over content.

Any idea, how I can move this index, or if there is no way (I don't find any) how to create the Oracle index (it's not in the DDIC) in the new tablespace?

Thank you!

Best regards,

Tobias

Change the SYS & SYSTEM Oracle passwords with BRTOOLS, any concerns ?

Hello, I would like to change both the SYS and SYSTEM Oracle passwords with BRTOOLS :

(1) Can I use BRTOOLS to change them, or, I have to change them through SQLPlus ?

(2) Any concerns, will this password change affect my SAP normal operations ?

(3) Do I need to re-start the whole SAP UNIX system when I complete the password changing ?

(4) Or changing these 2 passwords is totally an Oracle RDBMS issue, it will not have any effect on SAP ?

7.40 changes the alias and the access of the column "CLIENT"

$

Hi all,

in the last days i faced the Problem that a join of two of our own tables ran longer in SAPM than in production.
All statistics and reorgs are made. Parameters are the same. But in SAPM i got a full-table-scan instead of index access via BNDTA_AGNR which is selectiv enough.

That is the join part of our program:

INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE e_tab_nko_npo

         FROM       /gkv/cd01_bn_npo AS a

         INNER JOIN /gkv/cd01_bn_nko AS b

         ON         a~bn_lfdnr     = b~bn_lfdnr

         FOR ALL ENTRIES IN i_tab_schaetz

         WHERE      b~obtyp        = i_tab_schaetz-obtyp AND

        b~bndta_agnr   = i_tab_schaetz-obgrf

and that is the part of the SQL-statement that ran slow:

FROM

       "/GKV/CD01_BN_NPO" "A" INNER JOIN

       "/GKV/CD01_BN_NKO" "B"

          ON "A"."MANDT"="B"."MANDT"  -- that's new

         AND "A"."BN_LFDNR"="B"."BN_LFDNR"

WHERE "A"."MANDT"=:A0

   AND "B"."OBTYP"=:A1

   AND "B"."BNDTA_AGNR"=:A2

And that the same part of the SQL-statement from production that ran fast

FROM

       "/GKV/CD01_BN_NPO" T_00 INNER JOIN

       "/GKV/CD01_BN_NKO" T_01

          ON T_01."MANDT"=:A0

         AND T_00."BN_LFDNR"=T_01."BN_LFDNR"

WHERE T_00."MANDT"=:A1

   AND T_01."OBTYP"=:A2

   AND T_01."BNDTA_AGNR"=:A3

The point is that production is on 7.31 but the newer SAP is on 7.40.

I search on "alias t_00" and found 2029981 - DBSL: Replacement of invalid aliases in Oracle
hints

Here we can read that the naming of the alias has changed.

And it seems that implementation of the access to CLIENT or MANDT has changed too.

Is there a chance to get back the old behaviour ?

best regards
Kay

Dear experts,

for performance test reasons, I would like to a make homogeneous system copy of an SAP system,

to another system, where the Oracle DB will be residing in an ASM disk group...

The source system is backed up using BRBACKUP with the usual procedure with alter ... begin backup

and then copying the data files to the backup destination. Kindly advise how to do that and if it is possible

to restore a classical BRBACKUP to an ASM storage ?

Many thanks!

In DB13 the CheckDB terminated with errors:

BR0252E Function _stat64() failed for 'E:\oracle\REP' at location BrDiskStatGet-1

BR0253E errno 2: No such file or directory

BR0277E Determination of disk volume status for E:\oracle\REP failed

Actually it was never succesfully (checked up to 27th February).

Checked Note 952080 - BR*Tools fail with BR0252E Function stat() failed

But this is no soft link.

It is an ORACLE 11.2.0.2.0 on Windows Server 2008

The environment variable ORACLE_HOME has value D:\oracle\REP\11202

The environment variable SAPDATA_HOME has value E:\oracle\REP

Checked the security for E:\oracle\REP and added full control for repadm.

Started checkdb in db13, but with same error messages as result.

Any idea's what I am missing ?
